Our
first time in the area... was there for a week and loved it. Olivier is
a great host, very responsive and helpful. The house is tucked away
from the road (which isn't busy anyway), which makes it very private
and quiet. It is very well equipped. The outdoor deck is well
sheltered, so it doesn't matter if it's sunny or raining. The hot tub
is a bonus (cost is extra) and is inside a conservatory (can open
windows); a nice way to unwind after a hard day with the dog on the
dunes. The garden is very secure and great for dogs. The general vibe
in the villages all along the peninsula from Claouey down to Cap Ferret
is very chilled. The dunes and beaches on the Bay of Biscay side are
simply outstanding. A wee tip: If you need a vet (e.g tapeworm
treatment for a UK return) then we recommend Vet' Estey de Claouey.

Great Place to stay
Olivier
was a very nice Host and despite some language barriers we could
clearify everything very easily. The Villa is located perfectly within
10 minues walk between the ocean, the bassin, nice restaurants and the
supermarket. Equipped with everthing what is needed. On rainy days we
enjoyed the whirlpool for an reasonable extra charge. We would come
back!

Olivier’s house is a beautiful oasis with a lovely yard and beautiful outdoor space. The beds were comfortable and I loved having two toilets and 4 showers! The kitchen has basically everything you could want for cooking. The house is also in a wonderful location, 5-10 min walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the grocery store/restaurants. Olivier is a wonderful host and was very helpful. I would love to stay here again next year! | |

Thanks Olivier for a great
stay at your place! We were a family group with young children, and
really enjoyed your very practical & liveable home. The kitchen was
well-equipped for home catering (and we enjoyed using the outdoor grill
plate!). The jacuzzi was the perfect way to entertain children, and
conveniently within line of sight from the kitchen diner. It was great
to have bikes, and they were in good condition. Olivier met us at the
property and gave a helpful induction to the house (and jacuzzi). The
location was great, walkable to both the basin beach, great for kids
and oysters, and the Atlantic beach, for surfing.
